Quotes
Put together a professional quote in a couple of minutes: pick the customer, describe the work, add line items with hours or fixed prices, and set how long the offer stays valid. Quotes support GST taxable, GST-free and input-taxed lines, so mixed supplies are calculated correctly. When you issue a quote it gets a permanent number like JAT-Q-0001 and its details freeze, so the customer always sees exactly what you sent. If the details change, you can revise it: the original stays in history and the new version gets the next number.
Invoices
Raise an invoice for any work, whether it was found on JAT or not. Invoices carry a due date, payment terms, your payment instructions and an optional reference. If you are registered for GST, your invoices are issued as tax invoices with your ABN; if not, they are plain invoices with no GST. When the money lands, mark the invoice paid yourself. JAT never verifies or processes payments between you and your customers.
Customers
Keep a private list of the people and businesses you bill. Customer details are only visible to you, and documents snapshot the customer details at the time of issue, so later edits never change what a customer already received.
Business profile
Your business name, ABN, contact details, logo and document theme appear on every quote and invoice you issue. Your GST declaration decides whether your documents are tax invoices; JAT never guesses your GST status from your ABN.
Works with JAT jobs or without
Use Business Tools for jobs posted on JAT, or for customers you found anywhere else. Your documents are private to you: customers do not need a JAT account, and nothing is published publicly.
About payment
Payment is arranged directly between you and your customer. Jack of All Trades does not hold, process or guarantee payments.
