Finding work
Browse casual and flexible jobs near you: gardening, cleaning, deliveries, events, moving and more. Every listing shows the suburb, when the work starts, what it pays and how many workers are needed. When you mark yourself available, the poster chooses who fits from the members who applied inside a fair first-come selection window.
Posting work
Post a job in a couple of minutes: what needs doing, where, when and what it pays. Nearby members are notified and can put their hand up. You see who applied, choose who fits, and the exact address stays private until a worker is confirmed.
Agreeing the details
Before anyone starts, the work details are agreed in the app: the scope, the hours or fixed price, the start time and any requirements. Both sides see the same agreed version, and changes create a new version the other person acknowledges. Payment is arranged directly between members. Jack of All Trades does not hold or process job payments.
Getting it done
On the day, the worker marks themselves started and finished, and the poster confirms the work is done. If plans change, jobs can be cancelled and everyone involved is told in the app. Finished jobs can be reviewed by both sides, and repeat customers can save workers they liked working with.
Reviews and trust
After a job, both sides can leave a review. Profiles show completed jobs and published reviews, so you can see real history before you choose. Members confirm they are 18 or older, and report and block tools are built in.
Privacy
Your exact address is shared only with workers you confirm. Payments, phone numbers and personal details are never sold or shown publicly, and private messages stay between the people on the job.
Business Tools
Already have a customer? JAT Business Tools let you create professional quotes and invoices for work found on JAT or anywhere else, with your own logo, GST settings and document numbering. They are completely optional: the marketplace works fine without them.
